𝘁𝗛𝗶𝗦 𝗶𝗦 𝗠𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗶'𝗠 𝗙𝗢𝗞𝗞_𝗶𝘁
Why 𝗙𝗢𝗞𝗞_𝗶𝘁?
In recent years I have followed various inclusivity and diversity training courses and although these are basically well-intentioned training courses, I soon discovered that this actually creates more distance. More and more human labels are being added and therefore even more subgroups within the groups that already exist.
I believe that we are one group, humanity. Yes, we are all different, but that only makes the world colorful and beautiful, but we are all fundamentally human.
𝗔𝘁 𝗙𝗢𝗞𝗞_𝗶𝘁, 𝗺𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁: 𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲!
We are all unique and fantastic! All great people with our own lifestyle, preferences and ideas about how we want to live our lives.
𝗟𝗘𝘁'𝗦 𝘁𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗨𝗣!
As a starting entrepreneur, I knew from the start that I wanted to contribute to society and sustainability.
Of course I am realistic and will not change the whole world on my own. What I can do, I do thoughtfully and with the intention of making a positive contribution to the above topics.
Within the sustainability area, questions arise such as what is a good party to purchase collections from, which courier service do I choose, how are we going to pack and send the items, should I print out the invoices or not, etc.
The questions are simple, but the answers are not. Fortunately, a lot is possible and there are more and more companies that, like me, want to make a positive change within the subject of sustainability.
I also want to make a positive contribution to society, how can you contribute to this as a starting company? Especially if it concerns a sole proprietorship where I (the owner) literally have to and especially want to do everything myself. This may sound a bit negative, but believe me this is really not a punishment, my whole heart and soul is in 𝗙𝗢𝗞𝗞_𝗶𝘁!
AND LEt'S GiVE BACK
The fastest and easiest way is simply to donate directly to the charities that are important to the brand. Simply a goal that fits the DNA of 𝗙𝗢𝗞𝗞_𝗶𝘁. So that's exactly what I started doing. Every month I donate 5% of the sales of each item sold to charity.
We will also organize small events. Like clean-up days. An afternoon together with all kinds of different people to collect litter from our immediate environment as a group. Bringing people together and giving something back to our nature. Two birds with one stone!
As I have said before, I will not change the world on my own. However, by working together, we can already do a lot for the world. That is why I am always looking for companies, institutions, associations, creatives, people who want to make a difference together with me.
